Jayda Staige

Jayda played 2 seasons at Iowa Lakes Community College.  In 2023, she hit .389 and pitched 74 innings and struck out 79 batters for the Lakers. Staige was selected to the ICCAC Academic All-Region 2nd team in 2022.

She is from Holmen, Wisconsin.  Staige finished her career at Holmen High School with a 14-4 record in her senior season. In the circle, she threw 122 innings, where she struck out 117 opponents, while walking 49. She allowed just 39 earned runs to give herself a 2.24 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. She also only allowed her opponents a .219 batting average against her. At the plate, Staige had a .388 batting average. For her efforts this season, Staige was named 2nd Team All-Conference this past season. She also broke the school record in consecutive shutout playoff innings with 20.
